The Stanat TA-400 6" x 6" 2-High Rolling Mill is a heavy-duty, precision-built machine featuring a hydraulic wedge-style roll gap adjustment system, designed to maximize mill stiffness and minimize internal clearance.

Unlike traditional screwdown mills, this unit eliminates upper screwdowns entirely. The top roll assembly is fixed directly into the mill housing, while the bottom roll assembly is raised using a wedge mechanism, effectively taking up nearly all structural play within the mill. This design significantly improves rigidity, repeatability, and gauge control—making it particularly well-suited for precision rolling applications.

This mill is designed with a hydraulic wedge adjustment system, however:
The hydraulic wedge assembly was not fully completed
All major components required to complete the system are included
Final assembly and control integration will be required to bring the wedge system into full operation
