The IRM Model 4H6D2S is a purpose-built 4-head strip brushing machine designed for surface preparation applications, particularly pre-bonding cleaning of metal strips and foils where surface contamination removal and oxide layer treatment are critical to bond quality. A built-in recoiler with 1,500 lb capacity features a 1.5 HP DC variable-speed motor (0-50 FPM) and 10" air clutch for precise tension control, essential for maintaining strip flatness during surface preparation.

In inline configuration, the precision force monitoring and integrated recoiler enable synchronized processing with bonding mills or coating lines for continuous workflow operations.
