Description

These precision replacement rolls are designed for Standard Machinery 5080 2-High Rolling Mills used in the production of precious metal strip for coinage, bullion, and jewelry applications. Manufactured from high carbon chromium tool steel and hardened to approximately 60–62 HRC, they provide the wear resistance and dimensional stability required for producing consistent strip thickness and exceptional surface quality.

Each roll is precision ground to less than 0.0002" total indicated runout (TIR) and finished to a fine 3–5 Ra satin surface, helping achieve the tight thickness tolerances and superior finishes demanded when rolling gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and other precious metals. Custom crown profiles are available to accommodate specific rolling characteristics and material requirements.
