This Mino 2.5" x 4.75" Double Head 2-High Rolling Mill - Flat and Wire/Rod is a compact, versatile mill designed for precision rolling of flat strip and wire/rod materials. Manufactured by MINO, this mill is well-suited for laboratory, R&D, and light production environments where flexibility, control, and repeatability are critical.

Condition & Background:
The mill was removed from service from an R&D laboratory at a major industrial manufacturer, where it was previously used for rolling platinum strip and wire/rod. The unit was reported to be fully operational prior to removal from service and has been maintained in a controlled laboratory environment.

Drive & Controls Upgrade:
During its service life, the mill was upgraded with a new 3 HP drive motor and modern electrical controls, replacing the original MINO-supplied motor and electrical system. This upgrade provides improved reliability, serviceability, and overall operational performance compared to the original configuration.

Roll Tooling Included:
Two sets of wire/rod rolls currently installed in the mill
One spare set of flat rolls included
